Narrative
In the 1900 US census, Abraham said he emigrated in 1881. He had been married for 14 years, and he and Maria had had 6 children, three living. The three were Hugh (1886), Franklin (1895), and George (1898). If Abraham and Maria also had sons Abraham Sprugeon Jr. and Robert, then they may have been born and died before 1900. At the time of the 1910 census, Glendower had joined the family. By 1920, the couple were living in Maine with children George (21), Glendower (15) and Maurice (age 3).
